1. Install and connect your account

Download MT5 for desktop, iOS or Android from the official links on our platforms page — never from third parties. On opening, choose «Connect to an existing account», search for the AP Markets server and enter the account number and password you received when registering in the client portal. The green padlock in the corner confirms an encrypted connection to the right server.

2. Set up your workspace: Market Watch and charts

The Market Watch window lists available symbols; right-click → «Show All» reveals the full catalogue. Drag a symbol to the central area to open its chart, pick the timeframe on the top bar (M1 to MN) and your preferred candle type. Right-click on the chart → «Templates» lets you save your setup and apply it to any other symbol in one click.

3. Indicators and objects

The Insert → Indicators menu includes more than 80: moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger… Each is configured when added and removed from the chart's indicator list. Drawing tools (trendlines, Fibonacci, rectangles) live in the objects bar. Veteran tip: less is more — two or three indicators you understand beat ten that contradict each other.

4. Your first order

Press F9 (or the «New Order» button) with a symbol selected: set the volume in lots, the stop-loss and the take-profit — the last two are not optional in any serious trading — and choose market execution. The position appears in the Toolbox's «Trade» tab, where you can modify or close it. One-click trading on the chart speeds up entries, but keep it off until you master the mechanics: it removes the confirmation window.

5. Sync desktop, web and mobile

Your account is one: positions opened on desktop are visible and manageable from the mobile app and WebTrader instantly. Enable push notifications in the app to hear about executions and margin calls wherever you are. And before trading real volume, consider a few days on the Cent account: the best way to learn a platform is to make cheap mistakes.
