1. Data controller
The controllers of your data are AP Markets Ltd. (Saint Lucia, IFC 2026-00139) and its branch AP Markets Ltd. — Dubai Branch (CMA UAE, licence 0012705). To exercise any right write to privacy@ap-markets.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) Identification data (name, date of birth, nationality, ID document, postal address); (b) Contact data (email, phone); (c) Financial data (source of funds, net worth, payment methods); (d) Usage data (pages visited, clicks, device, browser, operating system, technical identifiers); (e) Communication data (emails, chats, recordings of calls with support).
IP address and technical data
We log your IP address each time you access our site or platforms, together with approximate IP-derived location, device identifier, browser fingerprint and access logs. We do this for security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance (KYC/AML), restricted-jurisdiction detection and statistical analysis. These records are kept according to the retention periods described below.
3. Purposes of processing
We use your data to: (a) manage your account and deliver the service; (b) comply with legal and regulatory obligations (KYC, AML, reporting to CMA UAE); (c) prevent fraud and abuse; (d) improve the site and products via statistical analysis; (e) send operational communications and, if you consent, marketing communications which you can revoke at any time.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of: contract performance (account opening and operation), compliance with legal obligations (KYC/AML, CMA UAE regulation), legitimate interest (fraud prevention, site security, service improvement) and your consent (analytics and marketing cookies, marketing communications).
5. Recipients and international transfers
We share data with: payment processors, KYC providers, custodians and liquidity providers, messaging and support platforms, and regulatory authorities where required by law. Some providers are located outside your country of residence; in those cases we apply standard contractual clauses or other recognised safeguards.
6. Retention
We retain your personal data while your account is active and, after closure, for the minimum period required by applicable AML/KYC regulations (generally between 5 and 10 years from the last movement). Technical logs (logs, IP) are kept for up to 24 months, unless required for an ongoing investigation.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object, restrict processing and request portability of your data. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise these rights write to privacy@ap-markets.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, continuous auditing and team training. No system is invulnerable; if we detect a breach affecting your rights we will notify you without undue delay.
